No water.

I had a professor mention years ago that all the trouble in the middle east was caused by a lack of water.  I’ve never figured out whether that was a weird joke, or if he meant that there was something very basic about all the struggle.
What I do know is that neither Israel or Palestine is faultless, and whether the people in charge have decided to blow each other up over religious differences, land ownership, ideology, or just plain fear, the end result is that people are dying.  People who are trying to live in a place and aren’t necessarily interested in blowing anyone else up.  Those people are being killed because of what amounts to a large-scale neighbor dispute.  It’s pathetic.

About ducksarebitches

I'm a painter, a drummer, a student, and currently unemployed. I also appreciate cats and a bit of light debauchery, but not at the same time or for the same reasons.
