There is no kicking. I’m still sick. I was way better yesterday, but today is the worst I’ve felt since this shit started.
I have some antibiotics now, so hopefully this will wind down and I’ll be able to work tomorrow.
In the meantime, the AC which was fixed, which wound up taking an extra day due to the necessity of calling an “AC guy”, is working on being unfixed. The main vent is again not working, and neither is the fan, which is what happened before the whole thing failed last week.
That’s not what really gets under my skin; I emailed the woman in charge of our property management- the one who’d previously given me shit for not contacting maintenance first last time there was AC trouble- and she basically told me the same thing again.
So my rhetorical question is this: at what point does an issue become a not-maintenance problem? The oven that was missing a knob that I had to replace myself because maintenance didn’t for two months…..is that still a maintenance issue? It says in my lease that AC is provided by the landowner- although nowhere in that lease, or any of the other paperwork, or on the property website is the individual mentioned by name. The lease is signed by L.Dunn, of property management.
If I decide, because my AC continues to die for several days at a time, that my lease has been violated and I want to end it, is that still a maintenance issue? Will the maintenance staff be paying the court fees and the remaining rent?
